Empirical Property of Asphaltic Binder PA 50/70 Modified with Mixture of Industrial Waste

The incorporation, by wet, of 10% w/w from the mixture two solid wastes, rubber waste tires and oily petroleum sludge, in proportions 15/85% (M1) 85/15% (M2) on asphalt binder CAP 50/70 (PA-M1-10 PA-M2-10) was evaluated against unmodified binder, regarding empirical properties: apparent viscosity, flux activation energy, penetration, softening point, specific mass, adhesion to stone aggregates, machining, compaction temperature, indirect tensile strength test (ITS) its hot (HMA). Test results showed that modifiers do not significantly change values properties under analysis, except flow energy. Modified samples had a lower value when compared PA 50/70, penetration modified PA-M2-10, which for having higher concentration tire made it harder, changed class 40-50, according standard ASTM D946-09A. ITS behavior HMA's processed with binders compatible meeting D6931-12.
